Space

Ready for farmhouse-style living, close to both the city and sea? That’s three great reasons to choose Marblebridge Farm if you’re looking for a rural getaway for up to 10.

Easy to find, but neatly tucked away to give you privacy, the farmhouse has a large driveway, so there’s plenty of parking space for all guests. And what an impressive property it is, both outside and in!

With so many highlights, it’s hard to know where to start.

You’ll soon see how the interior design of the house effortlessly blends the traditional with the modern. Exposed beams are a feature of many of the ceilings. There’s a modern conservatory that really lets in the light and offers a great place for guests to sit and relax, or gather round the bench style table for meals, snacks, games, or even work if that’s your reason for wanting to stay here. There’s even a wall-mounted flat screen TV out here.

A more formal dining room in the main house is ideal if you’re celebrating a special occasion with a meal, or if you need to hold a work meeting. And there’s a snug sitting room with a traditional fireplace that’ll leave you in no doubt that you’re staying in a farmhouse.

With room for up to ten guests, you’re going to need a big kitchen, and that’s exactly what you’ll get here. Modern appliances, beautiful cabinets and quality countertops make this a space you’ll enjoy preparing snacks and meals in, on those occasions you don’t dine out in nearby Chichester, or maybe grab some fish and chips by the sea.

As regards the sleeping arrangements, there’s a double bedroom on the ground floor with the other four bedrooms upstairs. These are the master bedroom with an ensure shower room, another bedroom with a double bed, a twin room with two single bedrooms and the fifth bedroom which can either be used as a double or single room. We’ll leave you to choose who sleeps where, but don’t worry if you don’t get the master bedroom as the family bathroom is, like the rest of the farmhouse, impressive, with a shower over the bath, so you can choose how you freshen up.

Have we saved the best until last? Quite possibly. Because outside, yes, there’s a private swimming pool with seating area set in the large garden with a paddock area. So plenty of places for kids to burn off some excess energy! Don’t forget to bring your swimwear!

Transit

With plenty of parking space outside, many guests choose to drive to the farmhouse, although you can catch taxis from Chichester Railway Station which has services to and from London. With so much to keep you entertained in the farmhouse, you might not want to leave, but it’s easy enough to drive around, order cabs, or catch local buses if you’re looking to explore further afield.

Here are just some of the things to do and places to go that can be easily reached by car from the farmhouse:

THE SEA: You have beaches to choose from at Bracklesham Bay, West Wittering, and Selsey, each of which is great for a good day out. So too is Bognor Regis which is a little further east along the coast.

THE CITY: Chichester city centre is nearby and has everything you’d expect from a modern city, including a landmark cathedral. So come here to stock up on food, or to browse the shops, and grab some refreshment from the many pubs, bars, restaurants, cafes and coffee shops in the area.

GOODWOOD: Famous for its race meetings and Festival of Speed, this is one of the UK’s most picturesque sports venues. And it’s only a short drive from the farmhouse.

Other attractions nearby include Chichester Golf Club and Jungle Paradise Adventure Golf.
