Just a short walk from the cottage, you’ll find the famous Fishbourne Roman Palace – the largest residential Roman building discovered in Britain – as well as a friendly local pub and scenic walks along the coastal path.
Chichester city centre is only 5 minutes away by car or a leisurely cycle, offering a fantastic mix of high street and independent shops, cafes, restaurants, and the renowned Festival Theatre. The area is also ideal for exploring the stunning South Downs National Park, with endless walking and cycling trails.
The beautiful beaches of West Wittering, Bracklesham Bay, and East Head are just 20 minutes away, perfect for a seaside day out. Chichester is just a 5-minute drive or a quick cycle away, and there are also local bus routes serving the surrounding villages and coastline. Taxis are readily available in the area.

– Dogs must be well/house trained
– Dogs should only be allowed in the communal parts of the house ie not in bedrooms or upstairs
– Please clear up after your dog in the garden and around the property (fines payable if this isn’t adhered to)
– Muddy paws should be cleaned before they’re allowed into the house
– Please never leave dogs in the property unsupervised
