Victorious Festival

28 – 30 August 2020 (tickets now on sale)

Held on The Common and Castle Field in Southsea, Portsmouth, Victorious Festival is a three-day music festival suitable for all ages and tastes.

With a prime spot in the calendar, the bank holiday festival has a real ‘summer holiday’ vibe, located right next to Southsea’s waterfront. Founded in 2011, the festival was originally named the Victorious Vintage Festival and held in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard for it first two years.

Both day and weekend passes are available, and children’s entry is a fraction of the cost. Highlights include:

  • Top live acts.
  • Enormous children’s arena and family-friendly facilities.
  • Food stalls and bars, with plenty of seating and grassy areas.
  • Markets for browsing and shopping.
  • Real ales.

With the 2020 line-up yet to be announced, 2019 headliners included Two Door Cinema Club, The Specials, Rudimental, Bloc Party, New Order and Clean Bandit.

Fresh Air suggests…

  • On a budget? Enjoy top acts and fantastic facilities with passes that are cheaper than many headline festivals. Adult day passes are from £35 and children from £1.
  • Driving? Although there are direct trains to Southsea from Chichester and Portsmouth, car parking is available from £15 a day or £40 for the weekend.
  • Staying over? If camping isn’t your thing, Fresh Air has multiple holiday properties in close proximity to Victorious.
  • Want more? Tie in Victorious with a holiday to the area. With so much to see and do, take some down time away from the festival to explore Portsmouth, Chichester, The Wittering, Selsey and Goodwood.
