About the property

Journey's End a charming end terrace cottage with sea views situated in East Wittering.

This lovely cottage is 200 yards from the sea and very close to the local shops & restaurants.

It has many original features with a log burner & contemporary furnishings, making it a perfect base for a romantic break or holiday with family or friends.
The cottage has a private off road parking space 50 meters away from the cottage. Parking is also permitted outside the cottage in the winter after 1st Oct

The Space
The cottage has two lovely bedrooms, both with original flooring. The master bedroom has a beautiful bay window offering sea views, as well as an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom is small but was slightly extended for January 2024 to allow for two 3 foot beds, which are set up as twins. This room has an ensuite shower & basin. There is a well equipped modern fitted kitchen with dinning area leading out to the patio garden for outside eating. There is also a downstairs cloakroom. The beamed sitting room has a wood burner and original flint wall making it a lovely room to relax in, new for January 2025 double glazing on bay windows has been fitted for a warmer stay & new oak panelled wall which makes it a lovely cosy room. East Wittering has a long safe beach ideal for water sports such as surfing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. A short walk away is the National Trust beach area of East Head. With stunning coastal walks around Chichester harbour and views of the Downs. The historic towns of Chichester, Goodwood, Portsmouth and Arundel are a short drive away. Making Journey's End a perfect base for a memorable holiday, any time of the year.

The Neighborhood
The cottage is only 100m from the beach. At low tide you can walk for miles. Throughout the year, water sports are available, Standup paddle boarding on calm summer evening to riding a wave in the winter swells. There are also beautiful harbour walks nearby and local fishing trips can be arranged. There is a cycle path through the countryside to Chichester. Goodwood Races, Festival of Speed and Revival is only 10 miles away.
Getting Around
East Wittering is a busy seaside village which has a regular bus service to Chichester. Where there is both coach and train services to London and along the South coast, Portsmouth and Brighton being about one hour away.

This is a fabulous little cottage with everything you could possibly need. It is ideally located - just a few steps from the beach, restaurants and shops. We will be back!

Lovely 2 night stay at Journeys End. The cottage is delightful and the location perfect. So close to the beach, with a view of the sea from the master bedroom side window. The town has everything you need. Cottage was...

Very clean and exactly as described. Easy access to the beach, walkways, shops etc. Secure little back garden which was perfect for our little dog.
