The Neighborhood

The house is a 10 minute walk north of East Wittering's pebble and wet sand beach. This beautiful part of West Sussex is popular with holidaymakers, with West Wittering's blue flag beach less than 5 minutes drive.

East Wittering village has plenty of cafes and restaurants as well as a fishmonger, butcher, pharmacy, barbers and greengrocers.

We are also fortunate in the area with numerous great pubs to choose from! The Lamb (West Wittering), The Shore (East Wittering), The Wittering (West Wittering), The Ship (Itchenor) and the Crown & Anchor (Dell Quay).

There are plenty of water-based activities such as kite surfing, kayaking and paddle board hire for the adventurous types in your group!

Chichester is 15 minutes drive. This popular, historic city with an array of bars, restaurants, pubs, shops and coffee shops is well worth a visit. It has a stunning cathedral and theatre.

If you're in the area for horse racing at Goodwood, Revival or the Festival of Speed, this home is a short 15 minute drive away.

Getting Around

A car will give you much freedom to explore and enjoy the beautiful West Sussex area. As you already know, we offer a free parking spot.

But having your vehicle is by no means essential, as there's plenty that you can reach on foot or by bike if you need to. And your hosts will let you know about the best taxi companies to use in the area if you want someone else to do the driving.

Beautiful place to stay in, clean, cosy and felt at home, plenty of amenities, on a walking distance to the beach and local shops. Would recommend and would come back soon surely!

Contacted with thorough information prior to and during trip which made check in, stay and check out all really easy. Great place for three adults and two dogs to relax, enjoy the beach, and get away from the daily grind.
